Los Monaguillosh started as a mod band in Madrid in the late seventies that evolved very quickly into a dark and psychedelic pop-rock, influenced by british bands like The Cure or Siouxie And The Banshees. In 1982, join the band Beatriz Alonso on keyboards and Ricardo Moreno on drums with its founder Jaime "Destello" Munarriz on bass, Amador "Rata Insólita" Luque on guitar and Susana Millaruelo singing. Shortly after signing with the record label Dos Rombos and record what would be their first single, 'Voces en la Jungla' which also include two more tunes: "De Madam" and "Bocas Sobre una Araña". "Voces en la Jungla" also became the first independent video of the spanish new wave, directed by Pablo Martín Patino. It happened in February 1983.
The appeared in TV Shows as “La Edad de Oro”, “Musical Express” and “Caja de Ritmos”. Recorded another single: 'Prisma de Ágatas' and played in the more famous rock joints as Rock-Ola or Zeleste. Before the summer of 1984, the band was finally separated. Soon, Ricardo Moreno became the drummer for Los Ronaldos and later La Marabunta while Jaime begin a work of alternative music producer, among the rising hip-hop and personal projects such as Cerdos or Destroy Mercedes.
