After his time in Alaska y Dinarama, the ex-Negativo Angel Atolaguirre (guitar and voice), born in San Sebastian, created this group with Celes Albizú (drums) ex-Coyotes, Juan Verdera (bass) ex-Derribos Arias, José "El Goma" (guitar) ex-La Broma de Ssatán and Manolo Benítez (guitar) ex-Teclados Fritos and, later, in Los Enemigos. Their music could be assimilated to a sort of decadent rock, dense and difficult to define. They released two albums 'Los Pies Sobre la Tierra' for La General / Fonomusic in 1985, and 'The End' edited by Interferencias in 1988.
In between, in 1989, two songs by Angel y Las Güais were included in the compilation 'Agapo Live', edited by Romilar D, in which they shared protagonism with other groups of the moment such as Las Ruedas, Sex Museum, Los Macana, Los Enemigos and Los Cardiacos. These songs were "Cracked Actor" and "Lamentos de un Vampiro", the first one not published in any of their two albums, while the second appeared on the first album. In addition, Ángel worked as a producer for several groups, highlighting his work on Zarama's album 'Indarrez (Por la Fuerza)' (Discos Suicidas, 1984), and in 1986, the first album of Desechables.
